This artwork by Joan Miró achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Paris in October last year. In the Art & Design : un certain regard sur le XXè siècle auction, the work Drawing for 'Ubu Roi' sold for EUR 69,300.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 35,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joan Miró achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Peinture (Étoile Bleue) in June 2012 with an auction result of GBP 23,561,250.00 (€ 29,174,436.97).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 98 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Joan Miró erzielte im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Christies in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Art & Design : un certain regard sur le XXè siècle wurde die Arbeit Drawing for 'Ubu Roi' für EUR 69.300,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 35.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joan Miró erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Peinture (Étoile Bleue) im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 23.561.250,00 (€ 29.174.436,97).
