Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December this year Bonhams in Paris held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art, which included the work Dama y costurera by Joaquín Torres-García. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 9,600.00 20% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joaquín Torres-García achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Construcción En Blanco in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 3,380,000.00 (€ 3,031,662.03).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Paris die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Dama y costurera von Joaquín Torres-García zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 9.600,00 und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joaquín Torres-García erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Construcción En Blanco im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 3.380.000,00 (€ 3.031.662,03).
