In the Photographs from the Ginny Williams Collection auction, the work '"Harvest" Philadelphia' sold for USD 11,970.00 (€ 9,787.41) - well above the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Joel-Peter Witkin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Kiss, which sold at auction in April 2000 for USD 35,250.00 (€ 38,783.14).
