Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Jordy Kerwick was sold in the Modern & Contemporary Day Auction auction at Sothebys in London in June last year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 11,970.00 (€ 13,905.74) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jordy Kerwick achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chic Imagery in May last year with an auction result of HKD 2,142,000.00 (€ 254,301.37).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Jordy Kerwick wurde im Juni letzten Jahres in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Day Auction bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 11.970,00 (€ 13.905,74) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jordy Kerwick erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Chic Imagery im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.142.000,00 (€ 254.301,37).
