This artwork by Josep Tapiró Baró achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in June 2010. In the Orientalist Art auction, the work Head of a moor sold for GBP 32,450.00 (€ 39,462.22) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Josep Tapiró Baró - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Moor In A Headdress, which sold at auction in June 2006 for GBP 102,000.00 (€ 147,592.30).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Josep Tapiró Baró erzielte im Juni 2010 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Orientalist Art wurde die Arbeit Head of a moor für GBP 32.450,00 (€ 39.462,22) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 18.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Josep Tapiró Baró mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Moor In A Headdress beobachtet, die im Juni 2006 für GBP 102.000,00 (€ 147.592,30) versteigert wurde.
