In April 2013 Christies in New York held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included this untitled work by Joseph Lacasse. The »bidding war« ended at USD 4,375.00 (€ 3,322.45), 46% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Joseph Lacasse have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Komposition (Rouge et noir) in June 2016 with an auction result of EUR 21,080.00.

Im April 2013 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Joseph Lacasse zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 4.375,00 (€ 3.322,45) und damit 46% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Joseph Lacasse auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Komposition (Rouge et noir) im Juni 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 21.080,00.
