Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Composition, 1972 by Joseph Lacasse was sold in the Contemporary Art auction at Artcurial in October 2012. The price achieved of EUR 1,416.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,200.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joseph Lacasse achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Komposition (Rouge et noir) in June 2016 with an auction result of EUR 21,080.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Composition, 1972 von Joseph Lacasse wurde im Oktober 2012 in der Auktion Contemporary Art bei Artcurial versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.416,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.200,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joseph Lacasse erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Komposition (Rouge et noir) im Juni 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 21.080,00.
