Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Homme Cactus by Julio González was sold in the Oeuvres Modernes sur papier / Art Impressionniste et Moderne auction at Christies in Paris in March last year. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 22,680.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Julio González achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Masque 'Ombre Et Lumière' in February 2011 with an auction result of GBP 4,633,250.00 (€ 5,457,580.86).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Homme Cactus von Julio González wurde im März letzten Jahres in der Auktion Oeuvres Modernes sur papier / Art Impressionniste et Moderne bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 20.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 22.680,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Julio González erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Masque 'Ombre Et Lumière' im Februar 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.633.250,00 (€ 5.457.580,86).
