Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2009 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work Bustling in the Sea by Kao Yu. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 450,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 500,000.00 (€ 45,660.48). Other works by Kao Yu have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 562,500.00 (€ 53,198.31) in May 2014 for the work Milky Way Hero.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2009 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bustling in the Sea von Kao Yu zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 450.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 500.000,00 (€ 45.660,48) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Kao Yu haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 562.500,00 (€ 53.198,31) im Mai 2014 für die Arbeit Milky Way Hero beobachtet.
