Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Karel Appel was auctioned at Bruun Rasmussen in June this year. It achieved a price of DKK 70,000.00 (€ 9,397.44), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Karel Appel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Two birds and a Flower in December 2012 with an auction result of EUR 841,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Karel Appel kam im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von DKK 70.000,00 (€ 9.397,44) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Karel Appel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Two birds and a Flower im Dezember 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 841.000,00.
