This price was achieved in the auction REFRESH:RELOAD Online Auction at Phillips in an online auction and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 40,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kaws achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Kimpsons #1) in October 2019 with an auction result of HKD 57,877,000.00 (€ 6,615,255.49).

Die Arbeit PINOCCHIO & JIMINY CRICKET von Kaws war einem Käufer im Mai 2020 HKD 125.000,00 (€ 14.529,64) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion REFRESH:RELOAD Online Auction bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 40.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kaws erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Kimpsons #1) im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 57.877.000,00 (€ 6.615.255,49).
