Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2014 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale), which included the work Unknown by Khaw Sia. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 52,500.00 (€ 4,965.18). Other works by Khaw Sia have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 62,500.00 (€ 7,633.50) in November 2015 for the work Still Life With Crabs.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2014 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Unknown von Khaw Sia zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 52.500,00 (€ 4.965,18) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Khaw Sia haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 62.500,00 (€ 7.633,50) im November 2015 für die Arbeit Still Life With Crabs beobachtet.
