A top price for Lasar Segall - as previously expected
The work Zwei Köpfe by Lasar Segall was sold in the Impressionist and Modern Art(Evening Sale) auction at Christies in London in June 2007. The price achieved of GBP 412,000.00 (€ 611,387.28) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 350,000.00 – 450,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Zwei Köpfe is the most expensive artwork by Lasar Segall that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Zwei Köpfe von Lasar Segall wurde im Juni 2007 in der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art(Evening Sale) bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 412.000,00 (€ 611.387,28) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 350.000,00 – 450.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Zwei Köpfe das teuerste Kunstwerk von Lasar Segall, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
