Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Dialogue by Lee Ufan was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2021. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 3,500,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 3,528,000.00 (€ 377,727.68). Admittedly, works by Lee Ufan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work From Line, No. 760219 in November 2014 with an auction result of USD 2,165,000.00 (€ 1,740,633.54).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Dialogue von Lee Ufan wurde im April 2021 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 3.500.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 3.528.000,00 (€ 377.727,68) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lee Ufan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit From Line, No. 760219 im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.165.000,00 (€ 1.740.633,54).
