Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Les voiliers by Léon Pourtau was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2009. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 33,650.00 (€ 39,487.15). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Léon Pourtau achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Paysannes Alimentant Le Feu in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 778,000.00 (€ 707,658.72).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Les voiliers von Léon Pourtau kam im Juni 2009 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 33.650,00 (€ 39.487,15) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Léon Pourtau erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Paysannes Alimentant Le Feu im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 778.000,00 (€ 707.658,72).
