This artwork by Léon Zack achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Paris in December 2019. In the Contemporary Art Online ǀ Paris auction, the work Composition sold for EUR 13,750.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Léon Zack - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Composition, which sold at auction in December 2007 for EUR 31,450.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Léon Zack erzielte im Dezember 2019 bei Sothebys in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art Online ǀ Paris wurde die Arbeit Composition für EUR 13.750,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 5.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Léon Zack mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Composition beobachtet, die im Dezember 2007 für EUR 31.450,00 versteigert wurde.
