Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April last year Bonhams in London held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art, which included the work Elégantes, scène de rue by Louis Anquetin. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 150,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 164,100.00 (€ 195,683.45). Admittedly, works by Louis Anquetin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Femme à sa toilette in February 2020 with an auction result of GBP 1,331,250.00 (€ 1,542,921.77).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Elégantes, scène de rue von Louis Anquetin zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 150.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 164.100,00 (€ 195.683,45) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Louis Anquetin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Femme à sa toilette im Februar 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.331.250,00 (€ 1.542.921,77).
