Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2010 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese 20th Century Art (Day Sale), which included the work Reclining Lady by Lu Shibai. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 240,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 275,000.00 (€ 27,170.91). Admittedly, works by Lu Shibai have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Nandina and Still Life in November 2012 with an auction result of HKD 1,207,500.00 (€ 119,729.05).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2010 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese 20th Century Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Reclining Lady von Lu Shibai zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 240.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 275.000,00 (€ 27.170,91) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lu Shibai auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Nandina and Still Life im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.207.500,00 (€ 119.729,05).
