Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Lucebert could be acquired at Sothebys in Amsterdam in October 2011 for an unexpectedly low price. In the The BAT Artventure Collection formerly known as The Peter Stuyvesant Collection – Part Three auction, this work without title changed hands for EUR 10,000.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 18,000.00 – 22,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lucebert achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dutch Dorfsscène in May 2007 with an auction result of EUR 132,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Lucebert konnte im Oktober 2011 bei Sothebys in Amsterdam für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion The BAT Artventure Collection formerly known as The Peter Stuyvesant Collection – Part Three wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für EUR 10.000,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 18.000,00 – 22.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lucebert erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dutch Dorfsscène im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 132.000,00.
