In July last year Sothebys in Milan held the auction Contemporary Curated, which included the work Concetto spaziale, Natura by Lucio Fontana. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 163,800.00 37% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lucio Fontana achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Concetto Spaziale, La Fine Di Dio in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 29,173,000.00 (€ 27,620,715.77).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 37 % übertroffen
Im Juli letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in Mailand die Auktion Contemporary Curated durch, in der auch die Arbeit Concetto spaziale, Natura von Lucio Fontana zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 163.800,00 und damit 37% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lucio Fontana erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Concetto Spaziale, La Fine Di Dio im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 29.173.000,00 (€ 27.620.715,77).
