A top price for Lui Liu
In April 2014 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction — Evening Sale, which included the work Public Vs. Republic by Lui Liu. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 4,840,000.00 (€ 450,151.41), 27% above the upper estimate. With this result, Public Vs. Republic is even the most expensive work of art by Lui Liu that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im April 2014 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion — Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Public Vs. Republic von Lui Liu zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 4.840.000,00 (€ 450.151,41) und damit 27% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Public Vs.
