Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Two Winged Figures II by Lynn Chadwick was auctioned at Bonhams in London in November 2021. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 100,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 106,500.00 (€ 125,041.02). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lynn Chadwick achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Jubilee IV in November this year with an auction result of USD 3,317,000.00 (€ 3,040,887.42).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Two Winged Figures II von Lynn Chadwick kam im November 2021 bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 100.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 106.500,00 (€ 125.041,02) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lynn Chadwick erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Jubilee IV im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 3.317.000,00 (€ 3.040.887,42).
