Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 'This One's for You, Dear.' by Mabel Lucie Attwell was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in London in December 2012. The price achieved of GBP 1,375.00 (€ 1,695.76) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Admittedly, works by Mabel Lucie Attwell have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work We're going on a ride on dear old quack - all the way there and all the way back. in June 2002 with an auction result of GBP 5,287.50 (€ 8,178.57).
