Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Cabeza by Manuel Pailós for USD 11,875.00 (€ 10,175.66). This price was achieved in the auction Property from the Estate of Bernard Chappard Online at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Manuel Pailós have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in November 2008 with an auction result of USD 86,500.00 (€ 68,142.43).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne

Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Property from the Estate of Bernard Chappard Online bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Manuel Pailós auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 86.500,00 (€ 68.142,43).
