In March 2021 Sothebys in New York held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art | New York, which included the work Pivoines et iris by Marcel Dyf. The »bidding war« ended at USD 8,820.00 (€ 7,510.86), 47% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Marcel Dyf have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Marché aux fleurs in May last year with an auction result of GBP 44,100.00 (€ 51,879.45).

Im März 2021 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art | New York durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pivoines et iris von Marcel Dyf zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 8.820,00 (€ 7.510,86) und damit 47% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Marcel Dyf auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Marché aux fleurs im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 44.100,00 (€ 51.879,45).
