The work In the theatre of our wedding day by Marcel Dzama was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction at Bonhams in London in June last year. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 10,200.00 (€ 11,849.50), 46% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Marcel Dzama - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Later the Delights of Damnation Will be More Profound, which sold at auction in July 2020 for GBP 30,000.00 (€ 33,462.71).

Die Arbeit In the theatre of our wedding day von Marcel Dzama wurde im Juni letzten Jahres in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 10.200,00 (€ 11.849,50) und damit 46% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Marcel Dzama mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Later the Delights of Damnation Will be More Profound beobachtet, die im Juli 2020 für GBP 30.000,00 (€ 33.462,71) versteigert wurde.
