Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of EUR 289,800.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 240,000.00 – 350,000.00. Admittedly, works by Maria Helena Vieira da Silva have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work L'Incendie I (The Fire I) in March 2018 with an auction result of GBP 2,048,750.00 (€ 2,332,614.96).
