The work One plate from Chevaux et Chevalier by Marino Marini was sold in the Pictures and Prints Online auction at Bonhams in March this year. It achieved a price of GBP 637.50 (€ 725.28), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 59%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marino Marini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work L'Idea Del Cavaliere in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 7,040,000.00 (€ 5,233,033.52).

Die Arbeit One plate from Chevaux et Chevalier von Marino Marini wurde im März diesen Jahres in der Auktion Pictures and Prints Online bei Bonhams versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 637,50 (€ 725,28) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 59%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marino Marini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit L'Idea Del Cavaliere im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 7.040.000,00 (€ 5.233.033,52).
