Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Palinuro 2 by Mario Schifano was auctioned at Christies in Milan in April 2015. The price achieved of EUR 26,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mario Schifano achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Stanza Dei Disegni in October last year with an auction result of EUR 1,302,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Palinuro 2 von Mario Schifano kam im April 2015 bei Christies in Mailand zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 26.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mario Schifano erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Stanza Dei Disegni im Oktober letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 1.302.000,00.
