The work Vision by Markus Lüpertz was sold in the Post-War and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2016. It achieved a price of EUR 20,000.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Markus Lüpertz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Arrangement für eine Mütze I- dithyrambisch (Arrangement for a Cap I- dithyrambic) in October 2020 with an auction result of GBP 300,000.00 (€ 333,124.41).

Die Arbeit Vision von Markus Lüpertz wurde im November 2016 in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 20.000,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Markus Lüpertz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Arrangement für eine Mütze I- dithyrambisch (Arrangement for a Cap I- dithyrambic) im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 300.000,00 (€ 333.124,41).
