Artwork auctioned at three times the upper estimate price
The work The Puddle Jumper by Martin Munkácsi was worth EUR 78,750.00 to a buyer in November 2012. This price was achieved in the auction Photographies at Sothebys in Paris and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of EUR 20,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Martin Munkácsi; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Die Solotänzerin "Gerda Juré", Städtische Oper, Berlin, Vers 1930 sold at auction in November 2015 with the realized price of EUR 97,500.00.

Die Arbeit The Puddle Jumper von Martin Munkácsi war einem Käufer im November 2012 EUR 78.750,00 wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Photographies bei Sothebys in Paris erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 20.000,00 um ein Vielfaches.
