In May 2021 Christies in New York held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale, which included the work Montmartre by Maurice Utrillo. The »bidding war« ended at USD 22,500.00 (€ 18,451.70), 50% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Maurice Utrillo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Paravent De Maurice Utrillo, 1939 in November 2010 with an auction result of EUR 835,540.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Im Mai 2021 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Montmartre von Maurice Utrillo zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 22.500,00 (€ 18.451,70) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Maurice Utrillo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Paravent De Maurice Utrillo, 1939 im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 835.540,00.
