Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Collage À La Rose by Max Ernst was sold in the Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale auction at Sothebys in New York in May 2021. Here, the upper estimate of USD 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 31,500.00 (€ 25,832.38). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Max Ernst achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le roi jouant avec la reine in November last year with an auction result of USD 24,435,000.00 (€ 23,670,444.64).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Collage À La Rose von Max Ernst wurde im Mai 2021 in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 31.500,00 (€ 25.832,38) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Max Ernst erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le roi jouant avec la reine im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 24.435.000,00 (€ 23.670.444,64).
