Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Miss Martini by Mel Ramos was sold in the Art Contemporain auction at Christies in Paris in June 2013. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 120,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 133,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mel Ramos achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A.C. Annie in May 2012 with an auction result of GBP 1,071,650.00 (€ 1,335,228.75).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Miss Martini von Mel Ramos wurde im Juni 2013 in der Auktion Art Contemporain bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 120.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 133.500,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mel Ramos erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A.C. Annie im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.071.650,00 (€ 1.335.228,75).
