Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Lily Cole (from the series Like a painting) by Miles Aldridge was sold in the The Jan & Monique des Bouvrie Collection auction at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2011. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 5,625.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Miles Aldridge - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work 'Home Works #3', 2008, which sold at auction in May 2015 for GBP 14,375.00 (€ 19,986.92).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Lily Cole (from the series Like a painting) von Miles Aldridge wurde im September 2011 in der Auktion The Jan & Monique des Bouvrie Collection bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 5.625,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Miles Aldridge mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit 'Home Works #3', 2008 beobachtet, die im Mai 2015 für GBP 14.375,00 (€ 19.986,92) versteigert wurde.
