This artwork by Miriam Cahn achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in May this year. In the 21st Century Evening Sale auction, the work WAS MICH ANSCHAUT, 02.10.2016 sold for USD 176,400.00 (€ 165,571.62) - well above the upper estimate of USD 100,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Miriam Cahn; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot o.t. sold at auction in October this year with the realized price of HKD 2,286,000.00 (€ 276,448.52).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Miriam Cahn erzielte im Mai diesen Jahres bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 21st Century Evening Sale wurde die Arbeit WAS MICH ANSCHAUT, 02.10.2016 für USD 176.400,00 (€ 165.571,62) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 100.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Miriam Cahn; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit o.t. im Oktober diesen Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 2.286.000,00 (€ 276.448,52).
