It achieved a price of HKD 37,760.00 (€ 3,982.86), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 72%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Miwa Komatsu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sounds Of Festival (Painted In 2020) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 780,000.00 (€ 796,532.61).

Die Arbeit Shinju – Mouse from Zodiac Series von Miwa Komatsu kam im Dezember 2020 bei POLY zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 37.760,00 (€ 3.982,86) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 72%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Miwa Komatsu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sounds Of Festival (Painted In 2020) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 780.000,00 (€ 796.532,61).
