This artwork by Moe Nakamura achieved an unexpectedly high price at POLY in December 2020. In the Poly Auction Hong Kong & Macau Joint Auctions auction, the work Bamboo Child sold for HKD 802,400.00 (€ 84,635.81) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 380,000.00. Admittedly, works by Moe Nakamura have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Child Of Nature#1 (Painted In 2013) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 336,000.00 (€ 343,121.74).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Moe Nakamura erzielte im Dezember 2020 bei POLY einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Poly Auction Hong Kong & Macau Joint Auctions wurde die Arbeit Bamboo Child für HKD 802.400,00 (€ 84.635,81) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 380.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Moe Nakamura auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Child Of Nature#1 (Painted In 2013) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 336.000,00 (€ 343.121,74).
