Auction result fails to reach estimate
When the work A pair of bookcases of solid Oregon pine incl by Mogens Koch was auctioned at Bruun Rasmussen in November this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously set the estimate at DKK 6,000.00, but this failed to be met - in fact, the artwork changed hands for DKK 4,200.00 (€ 563.31). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mogens Koch achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pair of easy chairs and ottoman, from a private commission, Copenhagen in November 2019 with an auction result of HKD 68,750.00 (€ 7,973.73).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Als die Arbeit A pair of bookcases of solid Oregon pine incl von Mogens Koch im November diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit DKK 6.000,00 angegeben, den dieses Werk bei seiner Versteigerung leider nicht erreichen konnte - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für DKK 4.200,00 (€ 563,31) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mogens Koch erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pair of easy chairs and ottoman, from a private commission, Copenhagen im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 68.750,00 (€ 7.973,73).
