Estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Solid teak wall unit consisting of three bookcases, one cabinet and four plinths by Mogens Koch was sold in the {} auction at Bruun Rasmussen in Modern art and design in September this year. Here, the estimate of DKK 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for DKK 15,500.00 (€ 2,078.09). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mogens Koch - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Pair of easy chairs and ottoman, from a private commission, Copenhagen, which sold at auction in November 2019 for HKD 68,750.00 (€ 7,973.73).
Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Solid teak wall unit consisting of three bookcases, one cabinet and four plinths von Mogens Koch wurde im September diesen Jahres in der Auktion {} bei Bruun Rasmussen in Modern art and design versteigert. Dabei wurde der Schätzpreis von DKK 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für DKK 15.500,00 (€ 2.078,09) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Mogens Koch mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Pair of easy chairs and ottoman, from a private commission, Copenhagen beobachtet, die im November 2019 für HKD 68.750,00 (€ 7.973,73) versteigert wurde.
