In the THE COLLECTION OF THE LATE MRS E M TOMLINSON auction, the work Horses Grazing Outside Bangor Town sold for GBP 720.00 (€ 1,031.63) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 300.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Moses Griffith; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot View of Malvern Hills From Bevere sold at auction in November 2005 with the realized price of GBP 840.00 (€ 1,234.07).
