The work Curiosity by Nadim Karam was auctioned at Christies in Dubai in April 2013. The auction ended at the price of USD 40,000.00 (€ 30,376.67), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nadim Karam - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Peacock Elephant, which sold at auction in October 2013 for USD 100,000.00 (€ 73,561.87).

Die Arbeit Curiosity von Nadim Karam kam im April 2013 bei Christies in Dubai zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 40.000,00 (€ 30.376,67) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Nadim Karam mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Peacock Elephant beobachtet, die im Oktober 2013 für USD 100.000,00 (€ 73.561,87) versteigert wurde.
