The work Lollipop Boy by Nadim Karam was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Arab, Iranian and Turkish Art Part I auction at Christies in Dubai in April 2012. The »bidding war« ended at USD 64,900.00 (€ 49,058.89), 62% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Nadim Karam; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Peacock Elephant sold at auction in October 2013 with the realized price of USD 100,000.00 (€ 73,561.87).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 64.900,00 (€ 49.058,89) und damit 62% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Nadim Karam; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Peacock Elephant im Oktober 2013 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 100.000,00 (€ 73.561,87).
