Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Natee Utarit achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2021. In the Contemporary Art Day Sale auction, the work The Last Description of the Old Romantic sold for HKD 819,000.00 (€ 91,102.41) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 350,000.00. Admittedly, works by Natee Utarit have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work GOD in May last year with an auction result of HKD 4,032,000.00 (€ 478,684.93).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Natee Utarit erzielte im Oktober 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Sale wurde die Arbeit The Last Description of the Old Romantic für HKD 819.000,00 (€ 91.102,41) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 350.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Natee Utarit auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit GOD im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.032.000,00 (€ 478.684,93).
