Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Model For A Sculpture In Rotterdam (Final Model For Bijenkorf Construction, Rotterdam) by Naum Gabo was sold in the Impressionist & Modern Art Evening Sale auction at Sothebys in London in March 2017. The price achieved of GBP 260,750.00 (€ 305,573.26) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Other works by Naum Gabo have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2019 the work Linear Construction in Space No. 2 was auctioned for GBP 515,250.00 (€ 597,653.05).
