It achieved a price of EUR 1,950.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 30 %. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nicolaas Warb - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Fonction Vitale, 1940, which sold at auction in March 2011 for EUR 5,355.00.

Die Arbeit Etude Pour Esprit Et Matiere N°218 - 1953 von Nicolaas Warb wurde im Oktober 2016 in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art bei Artcurial versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 1.950,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 30 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Nicolaas Warb mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Fonction Vitale, 1940 beobachtet, die im März 2011 für EUR 5.355,00 versteigert wurde.
