Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2010 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work Autumn's Holiday by Noriyuki Nakayama. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 100,000.00 – 200,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 125,000.00 (€ 12,986.09) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Noriyuki Nakayama have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work New Wind in May 2008 with an auction result of HKD 667,500.00 (€ 54,952.92).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2010 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Autumn's Holiday von Noriyuki Nakayama zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 100.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 125.000,00 (€ 12.986,09) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Noriyuki Nakayama auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit New Wind im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 667.500,00 (€ 54.952,92).
