Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Los Niveles Del Deseo by Óscar Domínguez was auctioned at Sothebys in London in February 2020. The price achieved of GBP 603,000.00 (€ 698,878.37) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 500,000.00 – 700,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Óscar Domínguez - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Toro Y Torero (Composition Au Taureau), which sold at auction in February 2015 for GBP 1,805,000.00 (€ 2,488,826.92).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Los Niveles Del Deseo von Óscar Domínguez kam im Februar 2020 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 603.000,00 (€ 698.878,37) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 500.000,00 – 700.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Óscar Domínguez mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Toro Y Torero (Composition Au Taureau) beobachtet, die im Februar 2015 für GBP 1.805.000,00 (€ 2.488.826,92) versteigert wurde.
