Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2015 Christies in London held the auction Impressionist/Modern Day Sale, which included the work Weibliche Leichen (Anatomie Dresden-Friedrichstadt) by Otto Dix. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 100,000.00 – 150,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 110,500.00 (€ 152,363.09) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Otto Dix achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sitzender Akt Mit Blondem Haar (Seated Nude With Blond Hair) in June 2012 with an auction result of GBP 3,513,250.00 (€ 4,350,239.94).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar 2015 führte Christies in London die Auktion Impressionist/Modern Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Weibliche Leichen (Anatomie Dresden-Friedrichstadt) von Otto Dix zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 110.500,00 (€ 152.363,09) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Otto Dix erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sitzender Akt Mit Blondem Haar (Seated Nude With Blond Hair) im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.513.250,00 (€ 4.350.239,94).
