Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Pablo Picasso could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in June 2020 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Impressionist & Modern Art Evening Sale auction, the work Le Réservoir changed hands for USD 2,775,000.00 (€ 2,470,839.64) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000,000.00 – 4,000,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pablo Picasso achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les femmes d'Alger (Version 'O') in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 179,365,000.00 (€ 163,148,080.77).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Pablo Picasso konnte im Juni 2020 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Evening Sale wechselte die Arbeit Le Réservoir für USD 2.775.000,00 (€ 2.470.839,64) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000.000,00 – 4.000.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pablo Picasso erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les femmes d'Alger (Version 'O') im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 179.365.000,00 (€ 163.148.080,77).
